A good disciple bears much fruit, but fruitfulness only comes from abiding in Christ. In the sermon, Abiding in Christ, Pastor Dana TenBrink brings a message to refocus the believer on the true source of life—Jesus. Many times a person will look to the Lord for their salvation, but will then turn to outside sources for everything else. Pastor Dana admonishes that we need to arrange our schedules to fit around Jesus, instead of working Jesus to fit around our schedules. If we do not stay plugged in to the vine we will not bear fruit. According to John 15:2, any branch that does not bear fruit will get cut off. Fortunately, Jesus is longsuffering toward us and lifts every unproductive branch before it is removed. After watching this sermon, prepare to flourish once you begin the practice of abiding in the presence of almighty God.
